Beginning May 13, a number of sidewalk segments, parking areas and roads in the west campus precinct will be affected by multiple summer construction projects. University Court will be closed to thru traffic between Linnentown Lane and Lumpkin Street although access to Oglethorpe Dining Commons and Oglethorpe House will be maintained from Lumpkin Street. East Cloverhurst Avenue between Baxter Street and Linnentown Lane will also be closed for the summer. Both roadways will reopen prior to August 9th. A limited duration sidewalk detour will affect the west side of Lumpkin Street, just south of the Legion Pool driveway. Finally, construction activities will affect Church Street between Talmadge Street and Peabody Street and an updated advisory will provide further details in advance of any lane or road closures. While areas of the surface parking on either side will be closed, the West Deck will remain open with access from both the west and east (Church Street and Linnentown Lane, respectively.)
