Supporting a sales organization and maintaining healthy habits are crucial for success at the negotiation table. Stress often leads to unhealthy behaviours like skipping meals, missing workouts, or time with family and friends. When negotiations get tough, focus on health and wellness. Take breaks after challenging meetings to clear your mind. Embrace a growth mindset and view failures as opportunities. Remember, you can't perform your best if you're at your lowest. Prioritize stress relief to set yourself up for success.

How do you find and engage passive candidates?
Through my experience as a recruiter, I have learned that often when it comes to recruiting top talent, it is a long game that often has the most success. In my opinion, top recruiters understand the importance of building trust and relationships with candidates. If a role doesn't work out often recruiters will show less engagement with candidates and candidates take note of this. It is important to build a strong pipeline of candidates for future roles, and referrals, or to share opportunities with their network. The more effort a recruiter puts into building and maintaining meaningful candidate relationships the larger return they will see on their efforts.
