May the Force be with you! Please enjoy a sample of the concepts we produced for Star Wars: The Old Republic. We're super excited to show you some of the work we have produced for the Star Wars MMORPG over the past two years. We had the great opportunity to contribute to a big part of the game, from environments to characters, without forgetting the cool creatures that populate the different worlds of this galaxy far, far away. During this long journey, our friends at BioWare and later Broadsword decided to lock in a team of artists from VOLTA to work full-time on this project, ensuring continuity in the next level quality we delivered. They fed us with various briefs and collaborated closely with our team to ensure everything met the high standards of this iconic franchise. We ended creating tons of concepts, that you can now encounter within the game. Do you recognize some of them ? Take a look at the Key Art we made for Shrapnel, which is now in early access! With less than two months until the official release, we're excited to showcase the key art we created for this new extraction shooter. Neon approached us last year, inspired by the Key Art we produced for other games, with the goal of creating an artwork that communicates the uniqueness of their new project. Set in an alternate future on Earth, our challenge was to build a key art that showcases all the main characters in a realistic environment while giving it a post-apocalyptic yet futuristic twist. We’ve all seen those eye-catching ads for RAID: Shadow Legends. Well, here's a fun fact: together with our friends at Plarium, we've conceptualized more than a dozen heroes. Working with them is a breeze thanks to their detailed briefs, which outline everything we need to know from the character factions to the weapons and accessories they wield. In these projects, we also create turnarounds and callouts in our final stage, to ensure that the concept is complete and ready for 3D modeling. Take a look at the stunning 3D models of the Ancient Dragon and the Wyvern we crafted for Cygames' latest release of the Grandblue Fantasy franchise. Now, players can battle these magnificent creatures solo or team up with friends in the game! A few years back, Cygames approached us to assist in bringing their beloved game into the 3D realm while staying true to the original 2D version. Our mission was to create the high poly version of their original model, ensuring they stayed true to the JRPG style while allowing players to enjoy them in the game's model viewer. With meticulous detailing and polypainting, our talented 3D team breathed new life into these creatures, bringing them to the next level and incorporating Cygames feedback every step of the way!
