Today, we’re thrilled to announce two new policies to empower our employees in some of the most important aspects of their lives. ❤️ Our new Caregiving benefit will ensure our team is supported and protected when they need to take time away from work to care for loved ones who are critically ill, injured, or require end-of-life care, without the added burden of work or finances. 🗺 We are also introducing a new sabbatical leave, which offers our long-standing employees the opportunity to take a month-long break to pursue their personal or professional passions, wherever that may take them. Last year, I was proud to unveil a still-too-rare parental leave top-up so new parents can focus on their families at a critical time of transition and connection. We’re now taking that policy full-circle with the introduction of a Caregiving top-up for eligible employees who take time away from work to care for loved ones that are critically ill, injured or require end-of-life care. We know just about everyone will be called upon to be a caregiver at some point in their lives, and when that time comes, we want to ensure our employees have the time and space to focus completely on what matters most. We’re also thrilled to introduce today a sabbatical for our staff. Those employees who have been with us for 12 years or more, are now able to take a sabbatical at full pay to pursue personal or professional development. I’m proud of the work we’ve done at Veritas Communications, Luxine x Veritas and Meat & Produce to support our staff in every part of their lives, not just their work life, and would strongly encourage all agency leaders to consider a similar approach. Doing so will mean more incredible talent will build a career in agency.

🏆🏆We had an amazing night with PRovoke Media last week! For the second year in a row, we took home the North American Sabre for Canadian Campaign of the Year, this time for our work on Aura Freedom International's “For Her” campaign with our incredible partners at Forsman & Bodenfors Canada. The campaign, which asked governments to declare femicide an emergency in Canada, also took home the award for Public Education Campaign of the Year. We also took home ✌️IN2 Sabres – our campaign in support of Girl Guides of Canada’s Brownies Branch Name Change took home the trophy for Micro-Budget Campaign and our work on Labatt Breweries of Canada’s Corona Plastic Collecting Billboard won the award for Corporate Values in Action. These achievements are a testament to our team's creativity, dedication and passion for delivering excellence to our clients and partners. We are grateful for the opportunity to work on such meaningful and inspiring projects that are making a real difference for Canadians (especially women and girls, with Aura and Girl Guides.) 🎉🎉Thank you to PRovoke Media for recognizing these thoughtful and to our amazing clients that supported this work. We’re just getting started!

This weekend, we had the chance to join some of our amazing clients onsite at the Monday Girl Summit. Stephanie Nadalin from Canadian Tire Corporation and Lisa Mazurkewich from Subway joined a powerhouse panel to discuss effective networking, Ava Amini from Microsoft led a standing room-only workshop on the fundamentals of AI and Revlon helped attendees live more boldly with their perfect match ColorStay long wear lip products. It was a great opportunity to connect, share and learn from the next generation of Canadian leaders and we left the weekend feeling inspired and energized. A big thank you to Monday Girl for having us. If you were at this year's Summit, we'd love to hear which sessions you enjoyed!
