Yesterday, Town Council took steps to immediately prioritize advocacy for a GO train station on Highway 50 in Bolton. This is another proactive step towards building a sustainable community, following last month’s rezoning of several parcels of land in Caledon, including a high-rise development planned along Highway 50 that will bring more than 3,500 families to the Town. The motion prioritizes advocacy for the Highway 50 location because water and wastewater infrastructure to support high-density residential development is already in place. On June 26 and June 27, we held our annual Staff Appreciation BBQ at the Caledon East Community Complex! Staff from across the organization enjoyed a delicious BBQ lunch and had an opportunity to play games, connect with colleagues and learn about various departments, programs and services.
