The push to the finish line is on for our Media Luna Project. With less than 6 months to go, the project continues to track to schedule and is now 78% complete, with engineering and procurement for the project largely concluded. First production of copper concentrate is anticipated by year end and commercial production is expected in Q1 2025.   With $345 million of available liquidity as at the end of June, we are in excellent financial shape to more than cover both the remaining $224 million of expenditures on Media Luna and our strategic goal of maintaining at least $100 million of cash on the balance sheet.   Read more about our latest update on the Media Luna Project here: https://lnkd.in/d2n-6i4m

In 2023, Torex continued to set high standards for environmental stewardship. We achieved 100% compliance with environmental regulations, recycled 66% of our water usage, and planted 70,560 native trees. Our efforts in energy management and reducing our carbon footprint include the procurement of one of the largest battery electric equipment fleets in Latin America, which will support our target of a 10% reduction in absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions by 2030. We are pleased to report that Torex Gold had a strong Q2 2024 with gold production reaching 113,822 ounces and sales of 113,513 ounces. This brings our H1 2024 gold production to 229,316 ounces, positioning us well to meet our annual guidance of 400,000 to 450,000 ounces.   "ELG continues to deliver safe, strong operational results and we’re well on pace to deliver on production guidance for the sixth year in a row. We are pleased to report the initial results from our 2024 drilling program at ELG Underground. Our intent is to replicate the drilling success delivered at the ELG Underground over the last few years again in 2024, and the initial results from the program indicate we are off to a very good start. A number of the newly reported drill holes confirm mineralization beyond the boundary of known resources, which demonstrates that the true mineralization potential of this orebody is yet to be fully realized.   “We continue to see ELG Underground as a deposit that year-over-year can consistently deliver resource growth and reserve replacement, which is expected to result in significant cash flow generation that will support the growth of Torex across the Morelos Property and beyond.” - Jody Kuzenko, President & CEO.

Over the coming years, we will be increasingly focused on demonstrating the significant potential of Morelos by delineating new deposits within the Media Luna Cluster and marking new discoveries across the broader property.
