"I recently had the opportunity to attend and present at the #SIGIR2024 conference. The event showcased the latest advancements in information retrieval and sparked many new ideas for the future of this field, particularly in the context of generative AI and large language models. "Having been with TR Labs for nearly five years, I can confidently say that this is a place where you can truly make an impact. My team and I are working on enhancing AI capabilities of CoCounsel, a Thomson Reuters product, by improving legal document review tasks (question answering, summarization, etc.) and legal document drafting tasks (transactional and litigation). We're also developing sophisticated document understanding models and services that empower AI functionalities of our #LegalTech offerings. "What I enjoy most about working at TR Labs is applying cutting-edge AI technologies to solve complex (but exciting) challenges, collaborating with brilliant people with diverse perspectives and skill sets, and ultimately boosting productivity for legal professionals. "Attending the SIGIR conference was invaluable for staying updated with the latest research, networking with peers working on similar problems, and meeting the brightest talent in academia. At TR Labs, we are passionate about pushing the boundaries of research and innovation. If you want to join a team that thrives on innovation and collaboration, explore our open positions." https://tmsnrt.rs/4bVWFe1 Ali, Manager, Applied Research, Canada #WorkingAtTR #InformTheWayForward
