In celebration of our 20th Anniversary, Strike Group is taking a trip down memory lane to highlight some of our key project milestones! This week, we're reminiscing about the groundbreaking Biomass Sustainable Aviation Fuel Modules project. Completed in 2022, this project marked Strike’s first-ever biomass green energy initiative. We successfully fabricated and constructed 33 modules for an alcohol-to-jet biorefinery, supplying sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) to the aviation industry. At the time, this pilot project was the first Alcohol-to-Jet facility of its kind! ✈️ The project took 85,000 man-hours and was completed at our spacious mod yard in Crossfield, Alberta. This milestone reflects our commitment to innovation and sustainable solutions in construction. It's all thanks to intelligrated conveyor systems! 📦 We wired and installed motors, safety switches, photoeyes, PLCs, and scanners to ensure that each package reached its destination accurately and safely. We then rigorously tested the system to guarantee smooth and safe operation. Since completing this project, our Electrical & Instrumentation team has installed many more intelligrated conveyor systems for various distribution warehouses across Canada.
