In the fourth instalment of the #Southlake100 series, we catch up with Lawrence, who proudly rang Southlake's bell in 2018 after his final round of chemotherapy. Lawrence completed four years of treatment at Southlake after he was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia at just 19 months old. Today, Lawrence is living life to its fullest! For 100 years and counting, Southlake has built healthy communities with a pride for people, place and performance at the heart of everything we do. As part of our 100th anniversary celebrations, we have partnered with Village Media and NewmarketToday on the Southlake 100 series.

Southlake Regional Health Centre accomplished another milestone last week signing a historic memorandum of understanding with the Town of Georgina and Northern York South Simcoe Ontario Health Team. The Herculean effort of a small team drafted, signed and announced the agreement in record time, enabling work to create a new healthcare facility in Georgina. Congratulations to all those involved, but particularly to patients and residents in Georgina, who will benefit from a renewed focus on improving local population health and wellness through the MOU. https://lnkd.in/gVrCHtjS
