Last week Schlegel Villages had the pleasure of hosting the Senior Quality Leap Initiative meeting at The Village at University Gates and the Schlegel-UW Research Institute for Aging (RIA). Over two days, this group of over 14 member organizations from across the US, and Canada came together to continue to drive the mission of SQLI to enhance the quality of life and quality of care for seniors by utilizing a structured approach to quality and performance improvement. Thank you to all the presenters and attendees including the SQLI Strategic and Innovative Partners including Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI), Healthcare Excellence Canada, Ontario Centres for Learning, Research and Innovation in Long-Term Care, Centre for Aging + Brain Health Innovation who contributed to help make this meeting so meaningful! A special "Thank You" to Sarah and the Crowsfoot Smokehaus team for hosting us for dinner! Already looking forward to our next face-to-face meeting at Westminster Communities of Florida with Garry Hennis and his team!
