During the visit, we observed the innovative design strategies and engaged in discussions about our strategic lease-up plans. Our partnership with Covenant Health Canada is focused on developing a comprehensive community based wellness project aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and providing an integrated approach to community health services. Happy Canada Day! After announcing last year the renaming, we are now excited to share the unveiling of the new Gupta Newcomer Resource Centre with Edmonton Newcomer Centre ! This follows the donation Rohit Group was able to make in support of all the invaluable efforts that Edmonton Newcomer Centre has done for decades to help newcomers find work, learn English, get settled, and join in community. This work is incredibly important for so many newcomers to Canada to gain a footing in a completely new country, and find their place to belong. At the Gupta Newcomer Resource Centre, the Edmonton Newcomer Centre offers English language services related to listening, speaking, reading and writing; childminding supports, settlement connections, mental health supports, employment readiness, as well as Canadian and local culture awareness for more than 5,000 newcomers each year in the Edmonton area. The unveiling was marked by inspiring remarks by Meghan (Unterschultz) Klein, CPHR, CFRE, Executive Director of the Newcomer Centre, and both Radhe & Krishna Gupta who shared early memories of getting settled in Canada themselves. A new art mural was also revealed inside with photos showcasing the Guptas’ journey as Canadians.
