A message from the OG Dog Mom at Open Farm ➡️ I guess you could say I’m a seasoned mom of three kids, but before I was a kid mom, I was a dog mom. I love Mother’s Day because we moms finally get some props for giving so much to others. When sh*t hits the fan, we moms are there – we are RIGHT there. There is nothing that makes a mom jump out of bed faster than the sound of her dog barfing at the end of the bed. When her dog gets skunked – mom is there with her can of tomato juice, prepared to smell like skunk herself. When her pup picks up something gross in her mouth, mom will get right in there to fish it out. Mom will give belly rubs when she’s tired, and head scratches when she’s sick. She will be there during the happy times and the silly times, but she’ll be there during the hardest times too, especially at the end when he needs her the most. 💔 Moms take it all in stride and are the most ride-or-die people on the planet. But today it’s important to reflect on where we’ve been, the issues still at hand, and collectively be a bigger part of the solution. Celebrating 10 years in business this year, we’ve been able to grow our commitment to premium, ethically and sustainably sourced ingredients while also growing the positive impact we have on pets, animals, and the planet. This Earth Day, we're especially excited about our partnership with The Savory Institute. For every order you make with Open Farm is a step towards a greener tomorrow. With your support, we’re transitioning 10 acres of farmland to regenerative management thanks to our support of Savory. We also wanted to celebrate today with some of the ways our team at Open Farm has been helping pets live their happiest, healthiest lives by sourcing the highest quality ingredients, supporting farmers who treat their animals right and providing transparency to our customers. ♻️ In 2023, we improved the recyclability of our treats and freeze-dried raw product packaging. This was a major step in our journey to fulfill our goal of Zero Waste to Landfill by 2025. 🧑🌾 This year we made major strides toward our goal to advance regenerative agricultural practices across 1 million acres of farmland by 2030.  We are excited to partner with the University of Missouri's Center for Regenerative Agriculture on this journey. 🐄🐓🐟 Our products have only ever contained 100% animal welfare-certified meat and sustainably sourced seafood, and we have continued to grow our partnerships with many of the world’s best farms and ranches who are at the cutting edge of animal welfare. ⚡️ We continue to purchase renewable energy for 100% of our electricity usage annually as part of our journey to reduce our Scope 1 & 2 emissions by 42% by 2030. 🤳🏼 Have you seen our QR codes on our packaging?
