ONCAP, in partnership with operating company management teams, invests in and builds value in North American headquartered small and medium sized businesses that are market leaders and possess meaningful growth potential. ONCAP targets significant minority or control equity investments of $20 to $250 million. ONCAP is the mid-market private equity platform of Onex. Onex is an investor and asset manager that invests capital on behalf of Onex shareholders and clients across the globe. Formed in 1984, we have a long track record of creating value for our clients and shareholders. Onex’ two primary businesses are Private Equity and Credit. In Private Equity, we raise funds from third-party investors, or limited partners, and invest them, along with Onex’ own investing capital, through the funds of our private equity platforms, Onex Partners and ONCAP. Similarly, in Credit, we raise and invest capital across several private credit, public credit and public equity strategies. Our investors include a broad range of global clients, including public and private pension plans, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies and family offices. In total, Onex has $48 billion in assets under management, of which $8 billion is Onex’ own investing capital. ONCAP today announced that it has completed the sale of Englobe Corporation (“Englobe”), a leading engineering and environmental services firm, to Colliers, a diversified professional services and investment management company. The transaction excludes Englobe’s material management and beneficial reuse (“MMBR”) operations located in Canada, the UK and France which was sold to the Ortec Group in a separate transaction that closed in June. AEC Advisors and BMO Capital Markets served as financial advisors to Englobe in connection with the transaction and Stikeman Elliott served as legal counsel.

We are proud to share Allison McIntyre's inspiring journey with ONCAP. She began as a receptionist in 2012, with limited knowledge of private equity. Within a year, she advanced to ONCAP as an Executive Assistant, embracing new responsibilities. Thanks to ONCAP's support, Allison pursued continuing education and earned her HR certificate from TMU. ONCAP's commitment to her growth enabled her to tackle new projects and responsibilities. In 2020, Allison transitioned into a project management role within the investment team, collaborating closely with the Managing Partners. After three years as a Project Management Associate, Allison has now moved to her current role as Senior Associate, Talent.
