In addition to the key responsibilities that this important role entails for the success of a project, I will be working closely with the BIM/VDC team. Those who know me have heard at least once that I aim to pursue a career in this fascinating technology for the AEC industry. 🚧 Kinetic Breaks New Ground in Burnaby! 🚧 Kinetic is thrilled to announce the groundbreaking of the new $229 million Burnaby Community Safety Building, a significant project in our portfolio of Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) contracts. This facility, designed to remain operational even after a major earthquake, marks a milestone in modern infrastructure. The IPD approach, which emphasizes collaboration and efficiency, has been instrumental in bringing together key partners such as Kinetic, Johnston Davidson Architecture, WSP in Canada, MCW Group of Companies , Altac Mechanical Inc. Alpha Mechanical Contracting Ltd. Canem Systems Ltd., Houle, RJC Engineers and the City of Burnaby. This method ensures that all the users, partners, and the community are aligned from the project’s inception, leading to enhanced communication, reduced risks, and optimized project outcomes. As our Vancouver Branch Manager, Bruce Vasarhely said "By leveraging the strengths of the IPD model, Kinetic and our partners are setting new standards in construction excellence.
