Meet Dr. Noemie Sultan Continuing our spotlight series on the ICRF Montreal Fellowship Program, we are proud to introduce Dr. Noemie Sultan. Dr. Sultan is completing a crucial one-year research project at CHU Sainte Justine, in collaboration with the Montreal Children’s Hospital, focusing on pediatric TP53 altered acute myeloid leukemia (AML), which is the second most common type of leukemia in children but the leading cause of leukemic mortality. Under the supervision of Dr. Catherine Goudie and Dr. Sonia Cellot, Dr. Sultan is investigating the incidence, prognosis, and pharmacological profiles associated with this aggressive form of leukemia. Her work is vital for developing tailored treatment strategies that aim to improve survival rates and outcomes for affected children.
