After working in completely different fields, Sarab in finance and Mandeep in technical sales, they took over the dairy once their parents decided to retire. Being handed over a business would seem like a dream and an easy transition but when it came to moving the business to new heights, two generations had vastly different views of how to do so. Sarab and Mandeep share their experience of how they created food items that weren’t on grocery store shelves, after being told repeatedly that there was no market for these products, only for Hans Dairy to overcome this barrier and become one of the leading ethnic dairy companies in Ontario.
