The MEDFAR team has been networking with brilliant minds, and contributing to vibrant discussions. I had a heartening full circle moment at the e-Health Conference and Tradeshow earlier this week. I met Adam Elwi in person. Adam works in health IT. And he is Dr. Darwish's son. If you've seen any of my work, you know that it is rooted in that very first appointment we had with our son's pediatrician, Dr. Azza Darwish, 21 years ago. Dr. Darwish's fingerprints are all over my writing and speaking notes. She set the bar high for how families and patients should be treated in the health care world. With compassion. And dare I say, love. It meant everything to me to meet Adam. An exciting week being able to participate and contribute to Canada's largest celebration of digital health at e-Health Conference and Tradeshow ! Fantastic phygital (physical+digital) experience, kudos to the organizers 🎉 Amir Rasheed & I had the opportunity to share our story of generating actionable insights on-demand to drive digital & virtual health product success at Provincial Health Services Authority, followed by a thoughtful discussion on value realization from our data assets. Key insights on digital health #product #success from some of the audience polls and coffee table conversations : - Majority agreed that #digital #health #apps on their phone are like 'the fruit bowl on the counter : full of good intentions but gathering dust' ! Feature heavy products doesn't mean, its actually usable and solves a real problem - Feedback around #critical #success #factors for digital health products were clear value realization, human centric design, clinically co-designed, equitable access and of course - secure and interoperable !
