En étudiant l'"ADN poubelle", des chercheurs ont découvert un nouveau gène, ETS2, qui joue un rôle dans l'inflammation de l'intestin ! De nouvelles recherches montrent que le gène ETS2 modifie la forme de l'ADN et active d'autres gènes qui déclenchent l'inflammation dans l'intestin. By studying “junk DNA” researchers have unearthed a new gene, ETS2, as a driver of inflammation in the gut! New research shows that ETS2 changes the shape of DNA and turns on other genes that activate inflammation in the gut. This finding could lead to new treatments and help address the underlying causes of Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.
