At TPP we know that women and gender-diverse people are disproportionately impacted by the effects of climate change, particularly those who experience overlapping marginalized identities, including race, class, disability, homelessness, location, and Indigeneity. We send our thoughts with everyone in Jasper and Alberta. We encourage our TPP community to donate to: https://lnkd.in/g-Gv8C85..
About us
The Prosperity Project is a registered charity with a mission to identify and remove the systemic barriers and biases that impede the advancement of all women in the economy, limiting their - and Canada’s - opportunity for increased prosperity. Our 3 signature programs together create positive impact for all women, for gender equity and diversity in the workplace, and for Canadian economic prosperity. The Prosperity Project’s research initiatives identify and measure barriers to gender equity and diversity in Canadian workplaces. The Rosie Initiative directly addresses barriers by providing a platform for mentorship support for all women. We recognize that women and women of intersecting identities are met with unique barriers when it comes to building and growing a career. We apply an intersectional identity lens to our programs and the support and resources we provide.

We applaud Hon. Marci Ien and WAGE / FEGC for their efforts in creating a more inclusive and diverse industry. Women shouldn't have to deal with gender-based biases, discrimination, and sexual harassment in the workplace. The federal government's investment in a cultural shift aims to create a more inclusive and diverse industry. This initiative will open doors and inspire more women to pursue careers in mining, ensuring a brighter and fairer future for all. https://lnkd.in/gBz83gHY #WomenInMining #DiversityInMining

It's time to address these systemic issues and ensure that women in leadership are set up to succeed.
