Scientists have made strides in understanding Vaccine-Induced Thrombotic Thrombocytopenia (VITT), a rare condition linked to adenovirus vector-based COVID-19 vaccines that causes blood clots and low platelet counts. They found that antibodies in VITT share structures with those from common infections, offering insights that could improve vaccine safety and treatment.
