We are thrilled to welcome Professor Gao Yingze and three teaching volunteers from China as we inaugurate the Confucius Institute at BIUST (CIBIUST). This milestone represents a significant step towards fostering international collaboration and cultural exchange. With the Confucius Institute, we aim to teach Chinese Language and Culture, enhance employability for BIUST graduates, and promote socio-economic, educational, and business cooperation between Botswana and China. With 15 years of pioneering research in Materials Science, he specializes in nano/submicron-sized materials for energy conversion and storage. Prof. Ezema's global recognition includes fellowships in India, Japan, and Canada, along with over 200 high-impact publications and 80 conference talks. His work in thin film solar cells and nanoparticle synthesis is driving innovation in energy applications.
