Over the last two weeks, Kisty Fox, Assistant Security Manager, trained 126 recruits of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force and almost 80 Bahamas Immigration officers on Port Security Awareness (IMO Model Course 3.25) in support of our community security enhancement strategy. She also trained several Ship Mate Bahamas Ltd. team members and our D’Angelo Ashe on port security management, helping them to earn their Port Facility Security Officer certification. From handbags, to t-shirts, to Bahamian honey, these brands offer some of the best Authentically Bahamian products around! The newer, larger, hurricane-ready Marketplace retail spaces, formerly a part of Festival Place, include customized product display cases, wall displays for more efficient and attractive merchandising, and storage space to support inventory management - all made possible through grants to the vendors that were provided by the Small Business Development Centre. #nassaucruiseport #nassaubahamas

Meet our dynamic and creative Assistant Events Manager, Iesha Rolle! Iesha joined NCP in July 2021 as a guest service ambassador in the marketing department. Since then, she’s transitioned into the ultimate event planner and an amazing team leader. Her recent accomplishments include spearheading the immensely popular Fuel Your Fridays - a weekly happy hour series held at the Gallery & Wine Bar at NCP and creating and executing the Soulful Sundays jazz at the port concept. She was also an instrumental part of the team that produced the Nassau Cruise Port VIP grand opening event and public grand opening in May 2023. Recently, Iesha achieved a significant milestone by earning her Internal Audit Certifications: ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 by the International Organization of Standardization. She is certified in quality management, environmental management systems, and occupational health and safety risks. One of the keys to her success? Stay passionate about your work. “The support and acknowledgment from my colleagues, company, and industry help keep me going, especially when I feel as if my efforts are going unnoticed,” she mentioned. “By embracing the challenges, brainstorming multiple solutions, evaluating the best options, and asking for help when I need it, I know that anything is possible.” She thrives off leveraging her creativity to curate unforgettable events and experiences, finding joy in seeing them come to life.
