Blockbuster ‘MSNBC Live: Democracy 2024’ coming to Brooklyn in September
FORT GREENE — CABLE NEWS CHANNEL MSNBC will be hosting a star-studded live event in Brooklyn on Sept. 7 that it is calling “MSNBC Live: Democracy 2024” — a happening that Hollywood Reporter describes as “a Justice League for MSNBC fans.” Democracy 2024 will feature conversations with popular hosts like Rachel Maddow, Chris Hayes, Lawrence O’Donnell, Jen Psaki, Alex Wagner, Joy Reid, Andrea Mitchell, Katy Tur, Ari Melber, Michael Steele, Stephanie Rhule, Alicia Menendez, Symone Sanders-Townsend and others. There will also be a seated dinner and reception for about 230 guests, who will get to mingle with the talent. MSNBC will also debut an upcoming film: “It’ll be big, that’s all they’ll let me say, but it’ll be big,” MSNBC’s Luke Russert told HR.
The in-person event will be held at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.
