Pat Perez has had a pretty vocal supporter in his corner since making the leap to LIV Golf in the form of his wife Ashley, but appears their marriage is coming to an end based on documents that show she filed for divorce at the end of November shortly before he was served with papers.

The 47-year-old Pat Perez had his first marriage end in divorce before he met Ashley Pendley at a dinner in Las Vegas, and the two of them eventually capped off 2014 by tying the knot in a ceremony that was held on New Year’s Eve (she once described him as a “teddy bear,” and he credits her with helping him get his anger issues on the course under control).

BroBible discovered a filing of the couple’s divorce at the Maricopa County Superior Court after one of our team members noticed the two removed all pictures of each other from their personal social media accounts.

On November 29, 2023, Ashley moved to dissolve that union close to nine years after it was finalized, and another document that was filed less than a week later confirmed Pat had been served with the divorce papers.

Ashley and Pat were frequently seen together at PGA Tour events before Perez made the leap to LIV Golf in 2022.

Since then, Ashley has managed to cause a bit of a stir thanks to some fairly inflammatory comments she’s made on Instagram. In 2022, she baselessly implied Tiger Woods was driving under the influence when he crashed his car in 2021, and last year, she said she would “love to watch Rory [McIlroy] get punched in the face” while chiming in on a heated exchange that unfolded during the Ryder Cup.

The couple have two children (Piper and Paxton) together, and while Pat mentions them in his Instagram bio, it’s absent of any references to the woman who appears to be on the verge of becoming his ex-wife.

The divorce has not been finalized as of this writing, but it seems like it’s only a matter of time.
