The Northern Futures Tourism Programme is £10m (£20m with in-kind and cash match) international marketing fund specifically for use in and for the benefit of Northern England.  The programme administered by VisitEngland is to be undertaken during the 2015/16 financial year.  Announced in November 2014 and then necessarily organised in very short order, the proposal document giving the headline and some specific detail of what will be delivered, how by whom can be found at: 2015 Northern Futures Tourism Proposal
