Recensione di: Ultimate Build Francesco.

This article begins the series of reviews dedicated to the series of CARS introduced by LEGO in 2011, in particular, the object itself is the Deluxe version of Francesco Bernulli, who in the film CARS 2 is the main antagonist in the racing of Lightning McQueen and represented with an Italien F1 car.
The first thing that came to mind when I saw the set was: How beautiful this machine is! does not seem destined to children, but to collectors, but do not want to anticipate anything and I prefer to proceed as usual.
The 8678 LEGO Set is coming in a box of medium size, has been declared suitable for children over seven years of age, inside there as well as instructions, two bags of brick, the first contains the brick to built the assistant to the pit, and the bottom part of Francesco, and the second bag to finish with the top of Francesco.
The assistant to the box assembly proceeds quickly and smoothly, returning a character very well done and edited, it then goes to the construction of the base of Francesco, realized by means of pieces LEGO TECNIC that return stability to the structure. Soon the bag is empty, and the assembly proceeds through the No. 2 bag, as it assembles the character you can not help but notice the care taken to present many details on the car to give it a profile aerodynamic as real as possible, and it is widely used pieces of airplane (wings of all types, sizes and thickness) and flat tiles.
Another thing I appreciated was the lack of use of adhesives (used only for the sponsors and the number 1), so all the color of the car flag is made of red brick interposing appropriately white and green.
After about three quarters of an hour set is ready to be admired.
After assembly I believe are worth noting:
PRO
- Very solid overall structure
- Very faithful reproduction of the character in the movie
- Extensive use of brick to create special aerodynamic profile well cared for
- Almost total absence of adhesives
AGAINST
- I would have liked to see drowned in the structure of a clutch release mechanism like the one in the set 7590.
Conclusion:
This is an excellent set of Lego , created for children but for fascinating even for the oldest. The result is impressive, and a trained eye can not fail to note the excellent work with bricks of various kinds to play a more-streamlined as consistent with that of the machine of the film CARS2 .

Quest'articolo apre la serie delle recensioni dedicate alla serie di CARS introdotta da LEGO nel 2011; in particolare, oggetto della stessa è la versione delux di Francesco Bernulli, personaggio che nella film CARS 2 rappresenta l'antagonista principale nelle corse di Saetta McQueen ed rappresentato con un'auto di F1 Italiana.
La prima cosa che mi è venuta in mente quando ho visto il set è stata: Quant'è bella questa macchina, non sembra destinata a dei bambini, ma piuttosto a dei collezionisti; ma non voglio anticipare nulla e preferisco procedere come al solito.
Il set LEGO 8678 viene venuto in una scatola di dimensioni medie, è dichiarato adatto a bambini di almeno sette anni di età; al suo interno troviamo oltre alle istruzioni, due buste di brick: la prima per costruire l'assistente dei box, e la parte inferiore di Francesco; e una seconda per completare con la parte superiore Francesco.
L'assemblaggio dell'assistente ai box procede rapidamente e senza intoppi, restituendo un personaggio molto ben fatto e curato; si passa quindi alla costruzione della base di Francesco, realizzata per mezzo di pezzi LEGO TECNIC che restituiscono solidità alla struttura. Ben presto la busta n.1 è esaurita e l'assemblaggio procede passando alla busta n.2; man mano che si assembla il personaggio non si può fare a meno di notare la cura prestata a tanti particolari presenti sull'auto per conferirle un profilo aereodinamico quanto più reale possibile, ed infatti si fa largo uso di pezzi di provenienza aerea (ali di tutti i tipi, dimensioni e spessore) e flat tile.
Un'altra cosa che ho molto apprezzato è stato lo scarso utilizzo di adesivi (servono solo per gli sponsor ed il numero 1), pertanto tutta la colorazione tricolore dell'auto è realizzata frapponendo opportunamente brick di colore rosso bianco e verde.
Dopo circa tre quarti d'ora il set è pronto per essere ammirato.
Al termine dell'assemblaggio ritengo siano da segnalare:
PRO
- Struttura complessiva molto solida
- Riproduzione molto fedele del personaggio del film
- Ampio utilizzo di brick speciali per realizzare il profilo aereodinamico ben curato
- Quasi totale assenza di adesivi
- Mi sarebbe piaciuto vedere annegato nella struttura un meccanismo a frizione con rilascio tipo quello presente nel set 7590.
Conclusioni
Si tratta di un eccellente set della LEGO, nato per ragazzi ma di sicuro fascino anche per i più grandi. Il risultato è d'effetto, ed un occhio esperto non potrà non notare l'ottimo lavoro svolto con brick di vario tipo per riprodurre un profilo aereodinamico quanto più coerente con quello della macchina del film CARS2.

Nice Ultrabuild
I wasn't a fan of the McQueen and Mater ultrabuilds, but Franscesco looked pretty good, and it was ok. Lots a playability here and unique parts.

Overall, this was an ok set. LEGO collecters should definatly get this for the parts, but for others, I'd give it a pass.
