    Very cute microfighter

Written by (AFOL , gold-rated reviewer) in Hungary,

    Minifigure

The painting of the figure comes from The Mandalorian Season 2, and the book of Boba Fett. Very detailed. Unfortunately, the rangefinder is missing from the helmet, but then Boba's head would not have fit in the cabin.

    Slave 1

I have seen a very similar size and structure slave 1 spaceship before with moc builders around 2014-2015, they used the same cabin windshield. But the angularity of the spacecraft reminds me of the first official Slave 1.

The best thing is that the cabin is designed like the larger sets, meaning that the minifigure can fit in both seating positions. I didn't expect that from a $10 set. Love it!

1 thing is missing, the kenner toy mechanism. Unfortunately, the wings do not turn automatically as a result of garavitation. And the flaps are too small and square. A 3x3 curved plate would have been better for the flap. Fortunately, this can be easily repaired, and in addition, it takes 2 less parts to move the wing. I'll show you how at the bottom of the article.

    Overall

So far, this is the best microfighter that Lego has released. I actually bought this set just for the minifigure. It's a very good value set, as for $10 you get a good quality minifigure and a small but practical spaceship. Plus, the laser cannons also work.

    My modification

So, first I replaced the wing with a larger 3x3 curved plate. It's more realistic that way.

I replaced the technic brick with a traditional pin connector.

So now, wherever I tilt the spaceship, the gravity mechanism works, the wings automatically turn horizontal.

Someday I might change the tail part to make it more proportional, but the set is still cute.

The book of mini Slave 1

Written by (AFOL , silver-rated reviewer) in United States,

This is the first time getting a retail Microfighter of the Slave 1, as the first was in 2012 for the Star Wars Celebration. It's good to see this Microfighter return after it originated the subtheme.

    The Slave 1

With the new pieces and recolour sense that set, this one has a big resigned, it still shares a bit of the old like the top front part of the build. While the shaping of it is a certain improvement. I, however, don't like cheese slops, it seems kinda strange looking and think they should've been kept flat, with tiles.

Something super neat about this microfighter, is that it can stand, thanks to the curved slop it has. Allowing you to place it on landing or in flight without needing a stand for it.

The last thing to mention of the fighter is that it has 'flick fire missiles', which the missiles give the weapon's shape. With those bar parts, it isn't bothersome in flight, but a bit awkward when on landing. But for playing, they served their purpose.

    Minifigure

The set comes with the 'Book of Boba Fett' version of the Bounty Hunter. If you want to movie version, go to the mech that came out the same year.

This is the same exact minifigure as the one from the bigger version (75312) and the Thrown Room (75326) the only difference is that he doesn't have his rangefinder. It makes sense that he doesn't have it honestly, as it would get in the way of him getting onto the ship. Bothersome if this your first set, but if you have any set with that piece, you'd likely have an extra on hand.

The rangefinder aside, it almost really good minifigure. I say almost beucase the leg printing looks strange, looking like he's wearing a skirt. But everything else looks amazing.

Face is amazing as well, they didn't need to put printing on the back of the head, but nice that they have.

    Overall

This is a very nice set to get you hands on, rather it's for display or play. Not to mention you get this version of Boba Fett in such a cheap set of costing $10, if you don't already have it from the other two sets.

And if you do have Boba from those sets, you're most likely be skipping out on this set...don't know why you're reading a review for it thought, you do you.

Great addition to the microfighters line of Star Wars Products

Written by (TFOL , bronze-rated reviewer) in United States,

75344 Boba Fett"s starship microfighter is a great addition to the Star Wars microfighters line of product, and out of the 8 microfighters that I have, this is my personal favourite. It includes a lot of good parts, and a couple of new ones. It also offers a lot of playability. Overall this is a fun little build that has 85 pieces a good edition of Boba Fett, and retails for $9.99 in the US

I want the real Slave 1… I said the REAL Slave 1… Perfection

Written by (TFOL , platinum-rated reviewer) in Mexico,

I was never a huge fan of microfighters. They looked alright for what they were, but their main appeal was certainly the figure that the model is paired with. Even then, none have really called to me until now with the Slave 1 microfighter, since it provides a very affordable way to obtain the relatively new Boba Fett figure. I’m curious to see what I think of my first microfighter…

    The Build

The Slave 1: I’ve been wanting a Slave 1 for a while now, particularly the 2021 set. Unfortunately, I never managed to get my hands on it. I guess the microfighter will have to do, and you know what? It ain’t half bad. It’s got everything you’d want and expect from a Slave 1 microfighter. The shape was achieved perfectly, It's got the adjustable wings and the cannons at the front double as flick fire missiles (they’re still not dead!). The cockpit is probably the coolest part of the build as you can seat Boba (even with the Jetpack) on either the flight or landed configuration, it was pulled off fantastically. Lastly, unlike its larger counterparts, this Slave 1 can stand vertically on its own which is another great feature. Overall, I don’t think this build could’ve been done any better, it’s honestly perfect for what it is.

    The Minifig

Boba Fett: I was really looking forward to adding the nicest crime lord who ever lived version of Boba to my collection, and yeah, it’s about as good as I’d expect, though there is a major issue with the figure from this particular set. The prints are very accurate and well detailed, I like the dark orange belt that spans from the torso to the hip, the yellow bits that contrast the rest of the figure and of course, the arm printing is marvellous. Reasonable controversy has surrounded this figure due to the inaccurate sand green Jetpack and helmet, the complaints are obviously justified but it doesn’t really bother me personally. What does bother me however, is the lack of rangefinder on the Boba from this particular set, I get that he couldn’t fit in the ship with it on, but he looks incomplete without it, I’m sure it’s not a big deal for Star Wars collectors such as myself as they probably have extras, but it would be for beginners. Lastly, his accessory is a double barrel gun with a lightsaber hilt attached. Overall, the missing rangefinder is a bit of a shame but it’s an otherwise great figure that has satisfying detail.

    Value For Money

R150 for this feels pretty good, a digestible price for a simple, small, impulse purchase set.

    Overall Opinion

I didn’t really expect much from my first microfighter, I thought I’d only find value in the minifigure included and not think much of the actual build, needless to say, it exceeded my expectations! Does it entice me to get more microfighters? Eh, not really…I’m still mostly in it for the figure. But hey, the mini Slave 1 turned out be a cute and enjoyable model with a great minifig to boot. You could probably skip out on this if you already own the figure or a minifig scale Slave 1, but on the other hand, if you’re looking to acquire the Boba Fett figure in a cheap way or already a fan of microfighters, this is a nice one to pick up.

Jabba ruled with fear. I intend to rule with respect

Written by (TFOL , rhodium-rated reviewer) in United States,

Starting with the minifigure the torso, legs, and head are very accurate to Book of Boba Fett but the helmet is inaccurate and is based on his episode 5&6 helmet color. The build for the slave one is very simple like all micro fighters which is fine and the centre does not spin with the orientation of the ship like the larger models do. They also changed the name from "Slave I" to "Boba Fett's Starship" which it is not called ever.
