Set #75325 The Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter is a beautiful set of Lego and oozes value for money, especially if you can get this set on sale or clearance.

The build is relatively simple but the final result looks very clean and has beautiful details such as the asymmetry in the engines designs and hints of yellow, teasing the ships original colours. Elements such as the rubberised tail to the ship means it isn't sharp or easy to break.

Included are 4 minifigs, The Mandalorian in his Beskar armor, Grogu, Peli Motto and a BD Droid. Mando has his backpack and the Darksaber, however the part of the darksaber is not the newer one included in #75348.

Overall, I think this is an exquisite set and results in a fairly large final build which looks great next to other sets such as the UCS Razor Crest.

    I love this

Written by (TFOL , bronze-rated reviewer) in Finland,

So this was the second set that I got for Christmas and I love this one even more than my other set 75333 (reviewed that one as well) this is fantastic in every single sector.

Box and Instructions: The box is what you expect a normal box to be like so let's just skip it. The instructions were normal, but I can't understand that these instructions that are much bigger have 99 pages and in my 75333 review the much smaller instructions had 103 pages.

The build: I just loved to build this I cannot say anything else. I see no flaws in this. The motors were just a bit annoying to build, and I wish that Peli Motto would have got like a tool rack or something instead of her just carrying a wrench. Also, I loved the little pod that Grogu has. Also, the central engine or whatever it was a bit clunky, but there was a space behind it where you could put Mando´s jetpack and the darksaber

The minifigures: Again it seems that I just get/buy sets with good minifigs. The set has 4 minifigs, and 3 of them are unique. The only one that is not unique is Grogu. The unique ones are: a different version of Mando, Peli Motto and BD-72.

Parts: There were nine unique parts in the set. There were not really any special parts because the ship is 90% light grey, but it had a bunch of different coloured parts on the inside.

Overall review: Overall I loved this set. Once I started building it I knew that this was my favourite set of the year. The minfigures were great and there were some good parts, but the only downside is the playability, because there were no bad guys. Overall i would give this set a 4,5/5

    Fairly good

    Written by (TFOL) in Canada,

The Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter is a 2022 Star Wars set that costs $79.99 CAD and is based off of the ship's appearance in The Book Of Boba Fett.

    Minifigures:

This set includes 4 figures, the first of which being Peli Motto, who is a mechanic who works on Tatooine and frequently helps Din Djarin, though it usually costs our Mandalorian hero. Peli's figure looks great with an accurate curly dark brown hair piece, a face with missing eyebrows, a brown torso depicting a jacket with a dark blue shirt underneath, and a toolbelt piece above unprinted brown legs. She wields a wrench.

The next figure is The Mandalorian himself, Din Djarin. This figure is amazing, with a nicely printed torso depicting his armour and a bandolier, beautifully printed arms, printed legs, his Mandalorian helmet, and, new in this set, a printed head, which previous versions of this figure did not include. The only thing missing with this figure is a hair piece, but it isn't necessary for this set. He wields a jetpack and the darksaber, which is constructed like any other lightsaber.

Also included in this set is Grogu, Din Djarin's adopted child. This figure has appeared in several other sets, but still looks as cute as ever in this set. He uses a molded head made of a rubbery material and a standard baby body part, which has some printing to represent his robes.

Finally, Peli Motto's BD unit droid, BD-72, is included. Despite being represented by a single part, this figure looks fantastic with accurate printing and an attachment point at their feet so they can stand on a studded surface.

    The Build:

The build of this set is Din Djarin's modified N-1 starfighter, which looks decent in Lego form. My favourite part of the set is the engines, which are built with some clever parts to represent mechanical detail, such as zipline handles and paddles. I think the wings between the engines and the central body of the ship could be improved, as they are missing some detail, are a bit too long, and don't look smooth enough in my opinion. The centre of the ship looks nice with a curved part at the front surrounded by 2 brick built laser cannons. Just behind the curved element is a stickered 3x3 circular tile, when the tile is pressed down on the spring-loaded shooter at the bottom of the ship fires. In between the cockpit and the circular tile, a small storage compartment is hidden under a panel where Din can store his jetpack and the darksaber while in flight. The cockpit itself is nice, with a brown cushion, a stickered control panel, and plenty of space for a figure to sit beneath the clear canopy piece. Some detail can be found on both sides of the canopy, showing the ship's original paint job, and some black stripes. I think this detailing looks a bit messy on the right side of the cockpit, but it is accurate to the ship from the show. Directly behind the cockpit, a smaller area is included for Grogu to sit in, covered by a clear dome part. A smaller engine is located underneath the cockpit, and it looks great, I have noticed that it is quite fragile however. Finally, the ship has a very long tail at the back, which looks lovely.

    Conclusion

I think this set is a decent representation of Din Djarin's modified N-1 starfighter, and it includes some great figures, even though it has some flaws, such as the wings connecting the engines to the rest of the ship, but at $80 I think that a side build or another figure should have been included. Perhaps Peli Motto's astromech droid (and former rebel hero) R5-D4, or a workbench could have been included.

    Pros

    Good figure selection
    Amazing engines
    Nice cockpit

    Cons

Wings connecting the engines to the ship could be improved
Set feels like it is missing another figure or build

    Wizard

Written by (AFOL , bronze-rated reviewer) in United Kingdom,

The Naboo Starfighter from 2007 was my first ever Lego Star Wars set and therefore one of my nostalgic favourites, so it feels right to finally be revisiting it in a souped-up form based on its appearance in The Book of Boba Fett and the Mandalorian.

    Build and Parts

The build is surprisingly large and solid compared to what I expected based on promotional images, feeling sufficiently swooshable without the worry of any pieces breaking off. Even so, it manages to retain the sleek, streamlined appearance of the classic Prequel era starship with excellent accuracy. The updated colour scheme isn't quite as eye-catching in Lego form as the chrome plated ship in the show, but does its best within the limitations of standard brick colours. Both the Mandalorian and Grogu can be seated in the two cockpits provided, with space to store the Darksaber and Din's jetpack hidden within the fuselage. Play feature-wise it is surprisingly lacking however, with two spring-loaded shooters on the underside being the only ones present. Some interesting pieces and building techniques are used to create the elegant curvy design, as well as the stripped-back engine housing, and on the whole this creates a very pleasing looking ship.

    Minifigures

Somewhat surprisingly for a Star Wars set, the minifigures in 75325 are not actually the stand-out attraction. They are, however, a solid line-up of characters. Most exciting to most people will likely be Peli Motto, who appears as a regular side character in both the Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett. Her minifigure is accurately detailed, and I particularly like the addition of the tool-belt accessory. She comes equipped with a spanner, which seems appropriate for demonstrating her engineering prowess. Peli comes accompanied by a BD droid (BD-72), which for anyone who has played the Fallen Order video game will be a familiar design. It comes as a single moulded piece with a stud connection, and has just enough printing to capture all the necessary details at this scale. Another stand-out minifgure appears in the form of the Mandalorian Din Djarin, who features the now standard but still incredibly detailed Beskar armour printing. The only unique part to Din, which has admittedly been a long time coming, is a printed head piece under his helmet rather than just a plain black one that appears in most other sets. Din comes equipped with the Darksaber, portrayed as a standard Lego lightsaber, but with a solid black blade, and his trusty jetpack. Finally, the Mandalorian is accompanied by everyone's favourite green baby, Grogu. This is the same version that has appeared in every set that he features in, and utilises the Lego baby body with a specially moulded rubber head.

    Overall

This is a fantastic rendition of Din Djarin's turbo-boosted N-1 starfighter, and fans of Star Wars spaceships will find a lot to love here in its sleek and accurate design. However, this is offset by a somewhat unexciting selection of minifigures which feels limited for the price point. On top of this, the price seems quite high considering the number of pieces included, despite the ship itself ending up as a considerably larger model than expected. With this in mind I recommend picking it up on a discount if possible, but, if not, 75325 is still a solid set to add to anyone's Lego collection.
