LEGO Adventurers (Orient Expedition) - Black Cruiser

Written by (AFOL , rhodium-rated reviewer) in Spain,

The Black Cruiser (7524) is a LEGO Adventurers (Orient Expedition) set which came out in 2003. It comes with 1 minifig and 28 pieces. This set does include no decals and there're no mistakes in the instructions and no missing pieces.

    Minifigure:

Lord Sam Sininster: Lord Sam Sininster comes with a black top hat, a black jacket with a white scarf on it, dark grey pants and a dark grey hook for a hand. On his face you can see that he's wearing only one piece of glasses on his one eye (I don't know what that one is called) and Sam Sininster also has a beard and a red scratch on his face.

    Black Cruiser:

The black cruiser is very simple to build and very sturdy. In the front, you can see the headlights and a grill and a small windscreen. There's also a steering wheel in the front and on the back you can find a brown box with a gun and a pair of binoculars.

    Positive:

Great pieces which you can use for brickfilms or MOC's
    Minifig
    Very sturdy
    Nice starter set
    No stickers

    Negative:

    Not so many play features

All in all, it's a great set to get, and I would highly recommend you to get this model. You can find this set on eBay and BrickLink for sure. Here is the link where you can check out the full gallery I made for this set on my website: www.klokriecher.de

  • Why bad Reviews?

Written by (Unspecified , silver-rated reviewer) in United States,

This set is good and I only got it for 1 buck! I like small vehicles for lego battles and like this one's design. I think people judge this set too fast because it really isn't that bad!

    pros: gun and bionioculars

    car design

    crate

Cons: another sinister!( i have to admit he is cool but is used to much in this theme)

    nothin else!

It is worth it and I reccomend buying it from $1.00-$5.00 price range.

  • OK Car

Written by (Unspecified , rhodium-rated reviewer) in United States,

This is an OK car but I've seen better in the Adventurers sets. You do get a Sam Sinister minifig(can be known also as Baron von Barron), but he appears alot in the Oreint Expedition sets. This isn't bad, but isn't the best.

This set is small! There's too many sets with Sam Sinister! Oh by the way,Da kirby dude, you said you could not give it anything higher than a two but you gave it a three!? The only good part about it is the gun and binoculars
