The Ogel Drone Octopus (4799) is a LEGO Alpha Team set which came out in 2002. It comes with 1 minifig and 18 pieces. This set does include no decals and there're no mistakes in the instructions and no missing pieces.


Minifigures:

Skeleton Warrior: The skeleton warrior comes with a transparent yellow helmet, an air tank and a suit which is red on the one side and black on the other. He comes with an updated version of the skeleton's face which looks a little bit happy.

Ogel Drone Octopus:

The Ogel drone octopus is a very nice model and very easy to build. We get an octopus with two transparent yellow studs which are the eyes, and underneath the octopus you can see two spears, which can sviwel.

Positive:

Great pieces which you can use for brickfilms or MOC's
Minifig
No stickers

Negative:

Not so many play features.

I saw this set in a toy shop right up the back, all dusty in the sale so i was really quite pleased, it was like 1 pound or something R E A L L Y cheap.The reason i got it was for the Octopus, i was dieing for a Octopus!

All in all get the set if you want a Octopus or a Ogel drone guy.

Well as this set is dying for a decent review I thought I would give it one. The set itself is pretty basic in, what you see is what get.

The set consists of 18 pieces and is basically an Ogel drone, sitting on top of an octopus, that has a small harpoon dock mounted under it.

The octopus is a basic black octopus but to do something a little different they have given you two pieces to make his eyes neon yellow, which is different.

The Ogel drone is quite a cool looking character and if you like him this set is a cheep way to get him. He is dressed in pants and a shirt that have one side red and one side black. He has a grey oxygen tank and a full, neon yellow mask. His face is a skeleton head.

The dock is very simplistic too. Really it is just a board with two neon yellow harpoons on it that hinge 180 degrees.

Overall the set is very basic but has a few good pieces. I'm sure it was quite cheep so a good one for keeping the children happy. I feel this set is a 5/10 or Average as it has no real con's but has no real pro's either. This set isn't a necessity for your collection but pick it up if its cheap enough or build it yourself from existing pieces you have.
