Hello all, today I'll be looking at one of the 5 LEGO Dots bracelets released in the initial wave of the theme. This is the 41902 Sparkly Unicorn that contains 33 pieces and sells for £/$4.99 with a price per part of 15p. Lets take a look of what is included.

Parts

Well lets take a look at the most interesting piece first the new bracelet that is in a lavender colour for this set. This bracelet has a 2x14 stud area but measures at around 21cm long. There are 5 holes that are to connect to a peg on the underside so it fits snuggly on your wrist. The feel of the band is comparable to that of a mini doll hair piece, but this band is very flex-able.

Placing bricks onto the band is a big thing and if they are 1x1 studs and tiles they will stay on very very well, they all fit onto the studs very well and i cannot see them falling off unless they are put under some serious stretching and i mean serious.

Now there are 32 small 1x1 tiles in an array of colours and styles to spruce up your bracelet, lets take a look at the piece you get starting with the special printed and new parts.

- 1x1 Tile in Teal with Unicorn head print (Qty x2, plus 1 extra) Unicorn has closed eyes and has a golden horn and its hair has light aqua and magenta pink highlights printed, around the unicorn is black print.

- 1x1 Tile in Teal with Unicorn hair print (Qty x2, plus 1 extra) flowing hair which is a continuation of the printed unicorns head printed tile, the hair curls to a point surrounding the hair is the space background with some stars printed

- 1x1 Corner Tile in Black with Star Design (Qty x4, plus 1 extra) 3 large stars, one in each pink, blue and yellow, surrounded by grey dots representing some stones loose in space with some sparkly highlights.

- 1x1 Corner Tile in Chrome Silver (Qty x4, plus 1 extra)

Now to the unprinted corner tiles included

- 1x1 Corner Tile in Black (Qty x4, plus 1 extra)

- 1x1 Corner Tile in Lavender (Qty x4, plus 1 extra)

- 1x1 Corner Tile in Purple (Qty x4, plus 1 extra)

- 1x1 Corner Tile in Salmon Pink (Qty x8, plus 1 extra)

Overall

This isn't the best of the first 5 bracelets from the DOTS theme but it is definitely one of the greatest ones, having a variety of great printed parts and new colours for the increasingly common corner tile which the DOTS theme heavily relies on. £/$4.99 for this is a great price for the selection of elements included in this set. It is nice to see those unicorn printed 1x1 teal tiles released in a cheap way after being released in the Trafalgar Square Architecture set last year.

I recommend this set to anyone who wants to spice up their outfits but also to anyone wanting to give this theme a try as this set offers some of the greatest possibilities in designs and looks. I have seen many people who like this bracelet and i can see this one selling very well.

Pros - Great selection of parts, perfect balance of pieces, inspired creativity

Cons - None to mention apart from maybe another printed part would have been nice

Building experience was bad due to the pieces continually falling off the bracelet. The value is bad also at $5, which should be $4 or less. Parts are ok, but aren't very useful. Playability is meh, as you don't really do much other than wear it.
