Because of the R2-D2, we got another might be once in a lifetime set in a gift with purchase polybag. For this one being BB-8.

Making this little guy in its ball form was done with all those dish pieces, sadly the flat spots are noticeable unless you're looking at the set from afar. But a fun little thing is that you're able to move the head around, along with spinning the body.

BB-8 have more printing than R2 that were a lot more unavoidable for this guy, you get the same dish printing for all sides, aside from the bottom have stud/curved tiles to add the little missing detail

It's still sad to me but understandable that like the big scale, you can't roll the little droid.

Like R2, we may never get a BB-8 in this size ever again, thus those a fan of this ball droid and unable to get the large scale, this is the set for you.

Back in the day I remember when we got very cool and exclusive promotions for May The Fourth. Now we get small little okay builds, or we get something of a bad mini figure. The prints are nice on this and it would be a really cool desk model, but there is one problem, there is a stud on the bottom of BB-8 that doesn't allow him to sit straight. They were so close to making something really cool but then they didn't. I wouldn't recommend buying this on EBay or Bricklink cause it will most likely be overpriced.
