You don't see something like this everyday, but this is a very cool model of a police Harley Davidson 1000cc motorcycle. I like how Lego used the lights and the design is just fanstastic. This is one of the best motorcycles Lego has ever made!

When I started collecting the Hobby sets, I was never interested in the motorbikes. They just looked odd, and I did not see the appeal. But having a full set of the cars made me seek out the bikes in order to go for a full house. I have managed to pick one up with a box for a few pounds. Upon reflection, it's much better than I had earlier thought with a nice naive charm about it, not very accurate, but a good effort bearing in mind the very limited brick shapes. It sits well alongside its brethren on the display shelves, no longer the ugly duckling. I am now on the hunt for its sister, the Norton, the chase begins.
