My first (and hopefully not last) Lego games set

Written by (TFOL , silver-rated reviewer) in United States,

    • My brother and I split the cost for this by each only paying $4.99

    Pros

Good pieces such as 1x1 circular plates with holes (6 [7 if you count the extra]
), 1x2 plate with joint (12), Lego dice (1), Goblet (1), and control panel (1),

Fun to play with (My brother and I have played it about 10 times in the past two
    days,

Three robots, Blue robot, Red robot, and Green robot,

    2 to 3 players

    Cons

The wrench gets nicks on it when used,

Should be 2 to 4 players,

Green robot is way too small

    Overall a 5/5

What I want in Lego 3835 Robo Champ

Written by (AFOL , gold-rated reviewer) in Hong Kong,

Do you think playing a game by picking up parts for Robo building is fun? I don't. But why do I get this Lego 3835 Robo Champ?

Simple, because of the parts, you may check out a photo of the parts inventory at my blog and you may agree with me:

    http://brickand.me/2009/11/24/WhatIWantInLego3835RoboChamp.aspx

The 1x1 tiles alone are quite costly, especially the green ones, believe it or not, someone is selling it at more than USD 2 per piece!

And the three Robots are quite cute indeed! I have set them up for some fun photos!

It is worth buying as a souvenir item, the parts themselves are worth the money, plus you can play the game if you have young kids at home.
