A Strong Contender for the NEW Best LEGO Set Ever.

Written by (TFOL , silver-rated reviewer) in United States,

We all remember 4463, Light, as the best LEGO set ever. Well, let me introduce you to 3390, Street Basketball. I think this is one of the most relatable LEGO sets of all time. We all remember getting home from school, walking down the street, and going to the neighborhood basketball court. Which is of course, just a 2x4 piece of wood spray-painted yellow. I also like how they've perfectly captured your typical neighborhood version of LeBron James. Because that's 100% what humans look like. This will surely be at the top of kids' Christmas lists this year, right next to Light. I think all kids will want to bring this to school when they come back from Christmas break so they can brag about it to all of their friends.

  • Minifig - Basketballer

Came with a Chupa Chups lollipop in a sealed plastic egg. The only way to tell what figure you got was to break the seal - hopefully you bought it first. They started at $6 Australian, but after a couple of months stores were letting trays of eggs go for a few dollars.

This set had one basketball figure (arms moulded to hold ball, spring legs), one basketball and one light orange 2x4 plate. This figure was less common than some others.
