Set #30402 Snowboard Tricks: The new Winter Vacation inspired Sub-Theme even has a nice little Polybag to collect, is it a good polybag? Let’s go over the Pros and Cons and then finish up with my final thoughts, spoiler alert, this one is a bit… well let’s not jump ahead.

Pros:

• Interesting little model for this set, a snow/ice inspired See-Saw to perform ‘tricks’ with Stephanie Mini-Doll.

• Stephanie Mini-Doll has Winter Jacket with fur collar print, great looking outfit for Winter Sports.

• Two head gear pieces for Mini-Doll.

Cons:

• Main model play feature is a bit… lacking.

• Cylinder piece included as a ‘snow table’ for Stephanie to keep her red coffee mug on. Really could have been better designed.

Overall opinion

This is a somewhat dull polybag honestly, the model is a bit limiting and isn’t quite large, on top of that the gimmick does not work as well as it could. Stephanie stands on the snowboard and then you push the see-saw down to have her perform a trick, unfortunately she’ll just topple off before reaching the end of the ‘see-saw’ model.

The piece count could have been better chosen and the model better design to actually look like a decent trick for Stephanie or other mini-dolls to perform. And the inclusion of a red coffee mug with a silly white cylinder seems to just be a waste of parts. Definitely could have been better, I’d mildly recommend this mostly for the parts and the Snow Sports themed Mini-Doll outfit at a very good price.
