One of the sets, which made me crazy about lego.

Beautiful set - I made the house at the front page many times. I was not happy, because there was no instruction in this set, so every time the house I built was a bit different... But for me at the time this set was an inspiration, full of so many bricks, that were so useful. Mid seventies lego was hard to find in Poland and very very expensive. But my parents knew what they did - me and my two brothers spent hours with this and other (10, 20) "basic" lego sets.

And years later I found again my lego from late seventies - and I became lego fan...

Pros:

- big set (for me - years ago was it like "wooow - this set is huge")

- lots of useful bricks

- nice buildings

- many of very inspiring models you could build

- coeducational models (not only for boys)

- peaceful theme

- nice and inspirating figures with hands

- simply classic!

Cons:

- no instructions for models shown at the box

- no more such simple and creative sets
