So good, I had to create an account here to rave about it.

In summary, I'd say that, in my opinion, this is the best Architecture set so far, and it has been one of my favorite Lego experiences to date. The construction uses a lot of clever techniques and elements, and involves building many nice details that won't be seen in the finished model, which is detailed enough as it is. What stands out the most is the way each floor of the main keep has a modelled interior based off of the real castle's floor plans, despite only one of these floors being easily viewed in the finished model without requiring any disassembly. The microscale courtyards, pathways, and thresholds are very satisfying to build and to inspect in the finished model. The only criterion to which I'd give a low rating is playability, since it isn't a play set, but I very much enjoyed building it, and the finished model is fantastic, so it certainly isn't boring. I'd highly recommend this set, and I'm looking forward to what the Architecture line has in store in the future; this will be a tough act to follow.
