This is my review of 41747: Heartlake city community kitchen!

The minidolls are detailed as always, Leo is not exclusive, but this variant only appeared in 41730: autumn's house, so it's nice to get a rare variant! He has different beach designs on his sweatshirt, and he looks very great! The same can be said for alba, Leo's little sister. She is wearing a dinosaur shirt, and uses the microdoll body. Her only other appearance was in the organic grocery store, so once again nice to get a rare figure! Rounding out Leo's family, we have abulita, Leo and alba's grandmother! Her hairpiece is currently exclusive in this colour, and her design is quite nice, too. But it seems Matilde has come over to the kitchen for lunch! None of her pieces are exclusive, her legs have been used for Newly-elected-mayor Stephanie in the past, and her top appeared on Riley in the downtown flower and design stores, her head and hair appear in the mobile bubble tea shop, too. But we're not done yet! Leo's grumpy mischievous cat churro appears too! This new cat mould was made for him and I think it's very cute!

Now, on to the kitchen! The kitchen sits on multiple baseplates, and is pretty large, too. The kitchen is firmly attached to the baseplate and has lots of details inside! The cobbled walkway looks very nice, and has great texture. A seating area is off to the side, with an awning providing some shade. A small notice board is on the side, looks like charli is still trying to track down shadow the kitten! On the other side, stairs lead to an upstairs seating area, with vines growing down the side. Underneath the stairs is a small garage can, nothing else. Taking our tour inside, a menu board is above the door as you walk in, and a nice cash register on the side. Behind the register is a refrigerator with some drinks inside. Heading into the actual kitchen, a large stove takes up most of the storage space and has a lot of stuff for making tacos! A sink is just behind, with kitchen equipment hanging above the sink. A very nice shelf sits directly next to that sink, with different ingredients. Heading up the stairs, you'll find an outdoor seating area, with lights hanging off the trees. A round table takes up most of the space, with room for all four minidolls in this set! Two of the new fern element are in the centre pot, right above the entrance! Churro also gets a food bowl, but will probably still steal your food when you're not looking...

Anyway, this is yet another fabulous Lego friends set, and I definitely recommend! Solid 9/10 from me!

This is my review of 41757: botanical garden

The minidoll selection is very good, Liann has an exclusive top, with some long pants that droop over her shoes. Her warm tan skin tone looks very nice, reflecting her Asian appearance. Her hairpiece is another amazing piece, and I hope to see it in other sets outside the friends line. Liann comes with a pen in metallic colours, which I prefer over the Aqua and purple pens in the past. Her other accessory is a book with a flower doodle on the cover, and a picture of a flower and a butterfly. Niko features smooth jeans and brown shoes, which are quite nice. his torso features a blue shirt, with a sand blue jacket over it. He also uses a warm tan skin tone, and his hairpiece comes from the BTS dynamite set. Niko comes with a camera and a selfie stick. Adi apparently works at the botanical garden, her cool yellow and vibrant coral clothes look amazing, with flower details and a nametag. Her gold shoes really stand out, too. Her eyes are wider than other characters, with a small beauty spot under her left eye. Her hairpiece is amazing. Her accessory is a pair of scissors.

First, the side build. Apparently liann packed a picnic, as a white and dark red blanket can be seen over a green plate. A croissant, a bottle, a slice of cake, and a picnic basket with a leaf in it all occupy this space.

Now, the garden itself. A small cherry blossom tree sits on one side of the garden, with fallen pink leaves on the ground. The tree itself looks very impressive, with large "macaroni pieces" making up the trunk. A small bench can be found at the back of the tree, which is a nice detail. A pond can be found at the side, using a SNOT technique. Two koi fish and a frog can be found underwater, with two ducks at the top. Three lotus flowers can also be found in the pond. A small plaque gives info on the lotus flowers. A small cobblestone path leads from the pond to the main building, with a map of the garden. Another bench can be found at the side of the building, alongside a plant using fern elements and frogs. A pair of bonsai trees can be found at the side, using a minifig coat element. The building itself is mostly white, with nougat as a side colour, and sand green window frames. A small fountain can be seen at the top of one side, with a waterfall leading down into the pond. Moving to the interior, a round bench sits underneath a large central tree, with frangipani flowers at the top. A plague sits at the bottom of the tree, giving info on the flowers. A Peleides blue morpho can be found near an orange and apple slice, of which I don't know the purpose of. Two more Peleides blue morpho can be seen at the top, alongside two Chitoria ulupi. Moving to the side, several succulents and cacti can be seen, along with a corresponding plague. On the other side, several more plants, including an orchid, a Rafflesia, two Tropical pitcher plants, a titan arum, and a bird of paradise flower. Two plagues are also included for the different plants, as well as a small bee by the pitcher plants. A glass roof can be seen, with plants at the top, and a large glass dome completes the building.

this set I have to give a 10/10, one of the best building experiences I've had in a long time!

This is my review of 71458: crocodile car

The minifigure selection is decent for what you pay. Cooper is very impressive, with racing patterns mixed with something you might find in Tony Stark's wardrobe. The Lego Batman movie utility belt returns in an azure colour, which looks good, but contrasts with the rest of the figure. Cooper's head looks decent, but I would have much preferred an alternate expression. The recolour of Jay's hair from the ninjago movie looks fantastic though, and the helmet is fantastic, and exclusive to this set, with a pixelated design, and the dream chasers logo for the right eye. The tech hammer is a very simple build, but is very nice. Cooper's best friend, Logan is up next, the body is very simple, he's not even wearing any clothes! The head is super expressive, though, with a grumpy face, with a single tooth sticking out, and on the other side, a heroic/happy face. At the bottom of the face is a bit of fur, which is consistent with both expressions. The hairpiece is joker's from the Lego Batman movie, but in black, which debuted in that colour with benthomarr, from ninjago seabound. Logan does come with a hockey stick. Jayden has his unicorn pyjamas on, being a mix of lavender and purple. His face has old-fashioned braces, with wires going up his face. His alternate face has a (very fitting) sleeping expression, and he has the bowl cut hair. The Night Hunter is a very amazing minifigure, his legs have chains, with his shirt hanging down onto his legs. The detail continues up his torso, with more chains and shirt detailing. The scarf is a unique mould, with a hand detail, similar to the nightmare king's cape. The head is very disappointing, being the same as the grimspawn. The hat, on the other hand is very detailed, looking like a wizard hat with an eye on it. He comes with a brick-built crossbow, including an eye print. Snivel is the most hilarious figure of all of these figures, with a huge head, reusing the thanos big fig head mould. He has a fuse-like topper on his head, with a pink flame piece. His armour looks very nice, and the chains on his torso looks very nice over a cloth. He comes with a tiny spear.

Two bikes are provided for the villains. Snivel's bike is fittingly tiny, but does the job, the light at the front is an eye, and the wheels look very great. The magenta does look odd though. The front is nice though. The night hunter's bike is very well done, with a spot to put Jayden at the back. Transparent pink wings look very nice, and the wheels are quite large. I think the magenta looks much better on the bike, and the stud shooters are well integrated. At the front is a sticker of many teeth, with exhaust pipes at the top

All dreamzzz sets allow you to build and rebuild certain parts of the set, and you can rebuild the car in the set, I'll be covering all three options

Option A: base car: this is a very amazing car, the red and black looks very great together. The front looks a bit unfinished, but there are reasons for that. The sides are very detailed, however the exposed ratchet joints are a bit annoying. The car's interior has room for two characters, with a 2x2 jumper for Logan. The disk launcher functions is very well hidden, and the back looks quite nice. The wheels are mostly black, but with azure highlights.

Option B: crocodile car: the wheels are completely removed, and replaced with legs! The first legs are very similar to 71453, with more crocodile-like feet at the bottom. The hind legs are brick built, with the same exact feet as the front. The tail is very well done, with a swinging tail feature! The tip is a very nice piece, and the tail uses lots of vibrant yellow! The head looks alright with the mouth open, but awkward when closed. The tongue acts as a launcher for the disks, and is flame yellowish orange instead of vibrant yellow. The top of the head looks nice, and the engine piece for nostrils looks amazing. The eyes are printed, so that's nice!

Option C: monster truck: two giant thrusters are added to the back, with reptile designs on them, and large spikes, these can be adjusted and look fantastic! A monstrous spoiler is attached, and is very stylish. Two eyes are just below the impressive engine, and the connectors for the front legs of the crocodile car become massive exhaust pipes! The huge jaw at the front looks decent, but leaves a bit to be desired. Logan also gets a boat in this configuration, which looks alright, but really is just using as many parts as possible to make this side build.

Overall, this set gets an 8.5/10

This is my review of set 41752, sea rescue aircraft

The minidolls are quite unique, Zac is one of 8 new Lego friends characters for 2023, he has a unique sea rescue outfit, and some fashionable cargo pants, his hair, while not exclusive, is quite amazing. Dia, Zac's mentor, (according to the description of this set) is also a very amazing minidoll, she has an amazing hairpiece, and a nougat skin tone, she also has a sea rescue outfit, and some teal shorts. Last, but certainly not least, a baby whale is also included, being a recolour of the narwhal piece, introduced in 2019, this is an amazing animal that you should definitely consider buying this set for

A small side build is included, where you can place the baby whale, where it appears to have got stuck! This small side build also includes the fern piece, introduced in the Rivendell set this year, and it looks amazing

Moving on to the main build, the rescue plane is quite small, but don't let that fool you! The front propeller is very well integrated, using some very nice pieces. The body of the aircraft is somewhat small, but still great! The wings are very simple, but still look impressive! The pontoons are very impressive, using a large piece at the tips, introduced in the mighty bowser, just above is storage for Zac's surfboard and paddle. The back of the plane opens up to reveal a feeding bottle, a life jacket, and a wrench.

Overall, a solid 9/10 for me

This is my review of Zane's ice dragon creature

The minifigure selection is decent, Zane uses the core suit, which is my personal least favourite ninja suit in recent years, however Pixal is an amazing figure, she's not exclusive, but was only available in the ninja dojo temple from last year, the bone king is kind of rare in the core 2023 sets, only coming in 3 sets, he and his minions use a bone accessory pack, which is very cool, the bone knight only comes in this set and jay's titan mech, his banners are stickers, though. Lastly, the bone warrior is a very standard figure, nothing too special

Two side builds are included, the bone gate uses a lot of very cool pieces, while the bone turret is very fun to mess around with, these builds stay together when you rebuild the ice dragon

Moving on to the ice dragon creature, it is pretty extraordinary looking, being the first ninjago dragon to have six legs. The head is partially brick built, with two impressive golden horns, however the lower jaw looks a bit ridiculous. The body is done very nicely, however, the build can get repetitive at times, especially when building the legs, speaking of which, each leg is different from the others, and it actually stands pretty nicely. The wings are mainly gold, with some transparent blue as well. The saddle can fit both Zane and Pixal, and has two banners, lastly the tail is pretty small, but is mainly a giant gold blade

overall, a solid 9/10
