A fantastic set!
This is one of those Jørn Thomsen's sets that looks like it's been designed with bricks he found while going thru the dumpster in LEGO's design department. The colors are just so off, why are the tipper car's sides black, not yellow? Why is the truck's roof grey? Why are the lights fluorescent green? Why are the printed elements straight from Spyrius? What's up with the little rail car being so odd? Why isn't the one dude wearing any pants?
BUT, colors aside, this is a fantastic set, the builds are perfect, simple, sturdy, and don't repeat any builds in other sets. My kid loves it, and it's worth all the effort it takes to get this set. Highly recommended.

Perfect.
After I got frustrated with a recent Police Station from LEGO City that I got for my kid, and which is just a pain to play with, I decided that I shall get him some simple old sets to play with. This was the first one I ever got (right now we are at circa 250) and it's such a joy to have. Simple build, sturdy, perfect play value for a kid that likes cars. I should revisit it a bit, maybe make a row of them like you can see here or there in bigger cities.

A shame it wasn't a regular set.
Why would that be a limited set? We'll never know, I put it together from random stuff, because except for the stickers, it doesn't use any magic elements (and similar stickers were used in another set), and it's such a great and sensible addition to any 80ies LEGO town. The truck has a great function, the building is substantial. I love it.

Difficult to play with.
Super cool, great parts, pure nostalgia... And oddly difficult to play with. My kid, although very good at playing with LEGO has difficulties to understand the "hook" mechanism, after a day the truck was left behind, and the play continued with the container. I think I'm more in awe with this set than my son is...

How can you not love this fantastic thing!?
One of the most aesthetically pleasant sets of it's period, funny how today people will complain about the use of special elements, pointing at the 80ies-90ies and claiming how it was better back then, and this thing consists of 44 pieces, out of which a quarter is highly specialised, and unless we talk something abstract like a robot, five of these bricks can't really be used as anything else but whatever that is that they are (the sail, mast, the lifepreserver, the suspension brick, the surfboard).
