My god. It’s the proto-Clikits

Ah - the *original* Clikits/Dots theme. A note to designers - this is how to do it any length, without flexing or unsightly gaps around the clasp.

Actually closer to DOTS with 2x2 tiles.

I remember my family's LEGO had parts from 308 , printed tiles were nice for that time, very useful even with later minifig builds.

The hinges on the bracelets however, while strong initially, fragile while taking apart.

Gotta love 70's mushroom hair! 308 did it even better, though.

I just love those decorated tiles, though. They were gorgeous.

As other have said, those printed 2x2 tiles are gorgeous! I wish the current LEGO DOTS sets would also have exclusive printed parts like this. But sadly, with LEGO DOTS we only seem to get new prints 1x1 tiles, which is a shame.

Indeed...and 308 is what my sister had! Lol

By in United Kingdom,

That little girl must be in her early 40s now.

I would love to see Lego release a modular jewellery shop. They could bring back those lovely printed tiles and use them wall pictures, and have other easter eggs that pay tribute to the Scala line, like using the daisy in the shop signage.

That kid looks just like me at that age in the seventies. Did all little girls look like that in the seventies?

By in Netherlands,

This is the kind of quality I've been waiting for.

By in United Kingdom,

Yes....we all looked like that in the 70s. Probably while wearing some brown trousers and a hand knitted jumper. Them were the days.

It would be prohibitavely expensive, but if you could get a few hundred of these bracelet links in the correct color, you could probably use them to make a really nice fieldstone lighthouse.

@MartyMcFly:
The set is 41 years old. The girl would be in her mid-40's at least.

And just when I was about to lose faith in Huwbot after all those ghastly Bionicle sets, he is back on track.
