Yay! More Minis! This is a lovely little rendition of the Falcon with that nice printed 8x8 dish and the 2x2 tiles. And this came with extra parts to build an engine for a Y-Wing, so it was a great incentive to get the other three lovely Series 2 Minis of the wave for the bonus fifth model.

What a piece of junk!

My first LEGO set ever. Got it when I was eight. Sparked my interest in LEGO and changed my life!

Brought me out of my dark age. More the AT-ST snowspeeder set, but I bought this the same day.

Cute set, but out of this line, I only got the MTT. A friend of the family had this in the cupboard for a few years, but on hearing I liked Star Wars, gave it too me.

I really like this one as well. Bit outdated, but “the garbage will do”!

I absolutely loved the MINI series. I was about 10, and any time I was able to bring one of these home from the store was a great day! So much nostalgia.

Oh this is a favorite! I loved this when it came out. It’s about time for a new one with some excellent printed parts.

Loved how LEGO did these sets! Great to have the multiple sets with parts to an extra set. Not the best rendition of the Falcon, but it was a good first effort. I still have all these with their original cases. Fun stuff

The nostalgia that some of these SotD generate is absolutely heartwarming.

Is this the only rendition of the Falcon that's based on ROTJ? All the others I can think of right now are from Solo, ANH, TESB, or the sequel trilogy.

The printed dish piece is nice, but other than that there is nothing all that interesting about this set.

Smooth edge wing pieces were the best.

That made me curious, so I checked: The Midi-scale model (7778-1) also has an ROTJ-themed background, but that's indeed the only ones.

...this is NOT the Millennium Falcon I'm looking for.

Been trying for a while now to pick up a Lego Millennium Falcon on eBay; seeing the double-page spread of 7190 in Lego World Club Magazine, way back in the day, was what finally tempted me to dive into Star Wars for real, and I've recently got the itch to pick up either it or one of its many successors. However, I'm not in a position to have much money to spare for Lego right now: so frequently, the only versions of the ship I ever see that I can afford are this, or the midi-scale version.

I have to confess that, as a result, I've got a bit fed up of seeing those versions by now xD

This little line nearly brought me out of my dark age. I got a handful of this batch of sets and then went back into hibernation until 2012-ish. Good stuff

Ah yes, the only Millennium Falcon set that I could afford when I was a kid. That said, it was definitely my favorite among the $7 Star Wars minis, and I still have it together to this day!
