Ahahahah
Yes, yes! What a difference, for today's prices the set would go for usd 15.00!
I always thought these sets were quite odd. Like, it was trying to be a people pack, but there just wasn't enough of anything.
Still working on trying to get the Han, Luke, and Boba Fett pack. These minifig packs can get unnecessarily expensive.
Wow, even these torso prints feels so new to me. Dang, I'm old...
These little people packs were fantastic, and I wish they’d come back. Rock Raiders and NBA!
I like that the torso designs almost seem to be a timeline, with the paramedic's being mostly the same since the 90s, the police officer's a bit more detailed, and the firefighter's having a lot more modern style printing
@nashikens @Spartan_Ghost:
Well, you don't have to. It is available again.

and, you can order it from Bricks&Pieces if you want.
Too many Town sets nowadays in RSOTD. I demand some Scala or Jack Stone!
I remember these packs, there some cool ones from SW and I am using the bases to build a bridge of sorts.
I loved these packs so much. The city ones never interested me, granted; but I have two of the Star Wars ones (Luke, Han, Boba and Maul, Vader, Palpatine), as well as the single-minifig one of Rock Raiders Chief... and the one with the two Green Ninjas is eternally on my 'thoroughly unattainable' wanted list xD
Though to my regret, I traded away a couple of the SW minifigures as a kid, when I got duplicates of them from other sets; little realising that classic Darth Mauls and Boba Fetts would become so expensive to get back should I ever change my mind. All the same, I still have four of the minifigures and all six stands, so that's at least *something*!
On this particular pack: I like that it had a lady police officer in; those were pretty unusual at the time, if I remember correctly. Even if she was mostly made from just generic parts, it was nice to know there was some female representation on the Lego police force even back then ^^
Also, that fireman seems to be waving his axe awfully near the paramedic's shoulder; the paramedic might be going to have to patch *himself* up soon if either of them get careless...
We haven't had an EMT, paramedic, or Emergency Doctor (er, Notarzt ) represented in the Collectible Minifigures line yet it seems. We've had a surgeon, a nurse, and a couple different police officers, however; as well as a firefighter. I consider the Mountain Climber to be Search and Rescue/Mountain Rescue personnel due to the Star of Life on the patch on the jacket.
These are really nice. For just a little more than the cost of a CMF today, you got three minifigures, a substantial base, and a display card. I had an NBA set as a kid.
I am glad I got the Star Wars and Green Ninja packs as my final purchase before entering my dark age. Wish I had gotten some other packs such as this one.
Three for the price of one CMF!
Anybody remember the pack that included three random battle droids? Great value there!
