Today's random set is 4505 Sea Machines, released in 2004. It's one of 48 Creator sets produced that year. It contains 168 pieces, and its retail price was US$7/£5.99.
It's owned by 639 Brickset members. If you want to add it to your collection you might find it for sale at BrickLink or eBay.

Not a sea machines person so I wasn't interested in this particular set from that wave. Still a 4506-1 and 4508-1 kind of guy.
I will never not be bothered by the categorization of Designer Sets as Creator sets.

The builds are pretty good, but the price per part is probably the notable thing about this set. Typically, this is a $15-20 set, even in 2004. But, it's only $7. That's just plain nuts.
Not to mention, the trans-black 1X1 studs are exclusive.
