By in Canada,

Forgot about the blue android. Less common than the red?

That’s actually a pretty neat little build, although the computer panel on the front doesn’t seem to be exactly easily accessible. ;-)

Ah, UFO. These blue guys were actually pretty common, just because they popped up in the smaller, cheaper sets. I wasn't plussed by their design, but I loved the UFO minifigs with the bigger, Predator-esque headgear. I wish I'd bought more of them, but in '97, I was all about Divers and the Bat Lord castle sets.

Hey Lego, I would buy a few of these.

By in Turkey,

I got a bunch of this under the set number 6800. I needed space figures and around that time Lego wasn't producing classic figures anymore (I mean true classic). So I thought I could use these guys as bots. Rest of the pieces went directly to parts bin. 20 years later, I still have them.

I have about four or five of these! I went on a bit of a UFO binge a few years back, and they’re a nice little companion to the bigger sets. It’s kind of weird they have a computer on the front, but hey: alien tech. They have a little control panel on the driver side, too.

Always liked those neat little sets. They were very good for parts, too.

AAAAAAHH this was one of my first sets ever! :D

...well, the boxed version, 6800, at least.

I don't even remember where I got this from... I think it must have been on one of the trips up to visit my grandparents in Scotland, because my first memory of playing with that minifigure was at their house... my cast of minifigures was so tiny back then, heh. It wasn't quite my first-first set, but it was definitely within the first five or so I owned (not counting brick buckets). Nice surprise to see it featured today ^^

By in United States,

Lots of people bash the UFO theme with its large saucer-section parts with limited utility, but those sets were pretty good designs for what they were, with lots of functionality and detail. And the smaller sets in the theme (including this one) look very good on display or as part of a space diorama. I ilke this little set! And I've been able to get lots of copies of both the blue and red robots for decent prices on the secondary market recently, so it's been easy to build up my ranks...

That's where that guy came from! I ended up with the head and torso in a big lot of random Minifigure pieces I bought off ebay years ago (the main draw was a complete orig. Jango Fett). I always thought this figure had some interesting printing, and it's nice to now know his origin. On a side note, does anyone want him for 62.00? That'd make me come up even for that Minifigure lot :)

By in Latvia,

I've got this one! First it was my uncle's, now he gave it to me! Such a fun little set!

I ordered that minifigure separately to go with the red droid I already have from the set 6915, Warp Wing. Only set from this line I own....

Best way to let the enemy know they're on your sights.
