Shoot, you're right, it's total garbage. 0\10.

No purple today?

By in Turkey,

I love it how they show the blueprint of the model with dimensions. It looks so Technic, useless though :)

By in Australia,

I'm actually surprised those hovercraft body pieces were released all the way back in '93, I thought they were brand new for the RESQ line in '98.

I have this one. I always thought it was super neat how the blue plates were continued into the wacky technic slopes on the front with stickers

By in Finland,

It's both interesting and funny how similar bumper pieces were used 13 years later in Batboat: Hunt for Killer Croc.

I love this set. Then again, I love all Technic sets.

I don’t understand the disdain for this set in the earlier comments. I got this set as a kid when it came out and absolutely loved it. Those bumper pieces are so unique and awesome to use in other MOCs. This is a great set.

I have this one still--it had a lot of interesting functions, and I've never seen the rubber bumper parts in another set before or since.

Good Hovercraft.

Yes, but is it full of eels?

Cool old Technic set! Love the ‘random set of the day’ concept, on Brickset. I love looking at LEGO history! Huwbot sure has been digging up some very interesting sets the past few days. (Castle, Galidor, Clickits, Sports, Technic, two of which don’t even seem like LEGO to me!)

Quite a neat hovercraft build. It's a shame you don't see much integration between system and technic these days (unless it's for a function.) Sets like this show how seemlessly they can blend and create a full-fledged model.

But will it blend?

Why do half of these comments have zero substance? I have this set from when I was a kid minus ONE rubber bumper. I think many do not understand the concept of randomness........
