The closest thing in the UK now would 31079 with 379 pieces, 31080 with 374 pieces. 31068 is a close match as well for 28UK with 386 pieces.

Avatar is my favourite show. This set remains to be a on my display shelf for years despite limited space. It's a pity this theme only contained 2 sets. The show has much potential to be made into more lego sets.

I'm glad Lego doesn't use those weird bad CGI renders of sets for the box images any more. Weird as it sounds, that was one of the things that put me off a lot of sets in the 2000s.

@Brickalili, Season 1 Episode 17, The Northern Air Temple. It's the one Earth Kingdom refugees colonized, and the Mechanist industrialized. To fight off the Fire Nation forces, the colonists and Team Avatar make a bunch of stink bombs which is what Sokka's catapult is throwing. The set isn't overly specific though, it's missing all the industrial flare which suggests that it is more of a combination with the Southern Air Temple all the way back from Episode 3, but it is also like Hogwarts castles where there are a bunch of key features, but kind of doesn't look like any one specific location.

I regret missing the avatar sets and they cost too much on bricklink.

Best show I've ever seen, it's a shame Lego stopped at 2 sets because (as has already been mentioned) the show contains brilliant characters and locations that would translate really well in Lego.

Avatar: The Last Airbender is my favorite tv show ever (plus Legend of Korra). It’s a shame that these came out during my dark ages; I’d love to put Aang in my town, but the prices are way too high. It’s also a shame that they were made before the quality of licensed minifigures was as good as it is now. They could be a lot more accurate if made today. I’d like to think that, with all the new skin tones, they’d get Sokka and Katara’s skin tone right, but who am I kidding? They gave Jango Fett the lightest shade of skin, so they’re not always great with that.

My understanding is that they released these along with a few Spongebob sets to decide which Nickelodeon property to make more sets for and ended up going with Spongebob instead. Quite a shame though neither Avatar set was very good which could not have helped. The show was brilliant but avoid the Shymalan movie, it was a grotesque travesty.

I got this set and the fire nation ship set 6 years ago.
Great sets, too bad there is only one soldier and one fire bender.
In 2012 I had build a MOC with this set.

@Polynices, If that rumor is true about who would be the better property, nothing can hold its own against Spongebob. Although Avatar is a better show, Spongebob is the moneymaker of Nickelodeon. Spongebob is more recognizable. And although both properties are aimed for a younger demographic, Avatar's skewed higher, meaning less kids interested in the show that would also want LEGO sets. Not like it really matters now, Nick and Matel seem to be in a deal with one another given that they switched over from LEGO to Mega for their building toys.
