The approach to Roughlock Falls in Spearfish Canyon, South Dakota. The falls are a highlight of the Northern Black Hills. I was there in late spring, when the daily thunderstorms powered the churning falls.

I want to go back to South Dakota so badly! My family went when I was just entering high school and this image is of Custer State Park, one of our favorite places we visited. I would be in a commercial for South Dakota--there's so much to see: The Badlands, Black Hills, Deadwood, Mount Rushmore/Crazy Horse, even the Corn Palace is worth seeing :)
