Weezie has a lot of responsibilities for a 10-year-old girl: taking care of her little brother and sister while her mom works and cleaning up and cooking for the family in their trailer home. It's not easy. She finds comfort in a new friend, a stray cat, and drawing. Weezie loves drawing! There is something big that bothers her though: she doesn't know her Dad. Weezie decides to find him. This is a good book for 4th and 5th graders.
