Heather Tenneson on Instagram: "The Santa Clause dinner and a movie 🎅🏼♥️ For this one we had: - Fruit wreath for the elves🍓 (which we ate on our pancakes with Nutella 😋) - “It’s always open” grand slam breakfast for when Scott burned the turkey and they had to go to Denny’s 🥞🥓🍳 - Egg nog, a delicious seasonal favorite (Denny’s was out but the Tenneson house always has some on hand this time of year) - Cookies for Santa - Hot cocoa - not too hot, extra chocolate, stirred, not shaken because apparently you can’t shake hot things in a Boston shaker 🤪 This one was so fun and easy. We love the Santa Clause movies and we love breakfast for dinner! What are your favorite Christmas movies? Heather Tenneson on Instagram: "Grinch night ✅ The Grinch is a favorite in our house. I personally love the original movie the best and Hannah asks to read the book nightly. For our Grinch dinner and a movie night we had: - Grinch carved roast beast - The last of the Who’s potato bacon hash - Mean green Mr. Grinch mixed greens - Who pudding trifle Not gonna lie, the girls wouldn’t eat the Who hash, but David and I thought it was pretty good! We used our “city sidewalks” plates by @occasions.byshakira and @mymindseyeinc since Kevin gets lost in New York in the second movie (one of the only movies whose sequel is just as good, if not better than the first 🙌🏻) On the menu was: - A lovely cheese pizza bread just for me - You’re what the French call “Lasagna con pesto” - Eating junk and watching rubbish brownie sundae Italian food and a warm dessert à la mode is always a hit in this house (look out for Audrey’s happy jump near the end to see how they really felt) Thanks for the menu and inspiration, @thefairytalefoodie!
